Udstillingen Slow wind transformerer Danske Grafikeres to etager til en refleksion over stålets kapacitet og de grafiske teknikkers acceleration. Tunge stålgenstande og flygtigt papirmateriale flyder sammen til en poetisk masse, der undersøger forfinelsen af industrielle processer og menneskets besættelse af repetition i udviklingens ånd.
Sara Annsofidotter (f. 1991) er uddannet fra Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi i 2020. I sit igangværende arbejde indsamler og bearbejder hun materiale fra stålindustriens økonomi, baseret på hendes barndom i en lille industriby i skovene i Sverige.
Sofia Olsson (f. 1987) er uddannet fra Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi i 2020. Med en interesse for materialitet undersøger hun vores forståelse af virkeligheden og dens strukturer i malerier, der zoomer ind og ud af en kropslig og sproglig fortælling.

Slow wind transforms Danske Grafikere’s two floors into a material reflection on the capacity of steel and the acceleration of the graphical technologies. Heavy steel objects and delicate paper merge into a poetic mass that examines the refinement of industrial processes and the human obsession with repetition in the spirit of development.
Sara Annsofidotter (b. 1991) graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2020. In her current work, she collects and processes material from the economy of the steel industry, based on her childhood in a small industrial village in the woods of Sweden.
Sofia Olsson (b. 1987) graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2020. With an interest in materiality, she examines our understanding of reality and its structures in paintings that zoom in and out of a bodily and linguistic narrative.
